Faculty and Academic Updates (8/19/26)

Dear Mayfair Lab Parents and Families,

As we begin another wonderful school year, we would like to thank you for entrusting the care and education of your child to the Mayfair Lab family. We are excited about the year ahead and would like to share a few faculty and academic updates taking place at Mayfair Laboratory School.

Starting Monday, August 24, Mrs. Caroline Chenevert will transition from teaching elementary Spanish to teaching 6th and 7th grade English Language Arts. Unfortunately, Mrs. Anderson, our previous ELA teacher, is no longer with Mayfair Laboratory School. We are confident that Mrs. Chenevert will be a wonderful fit for this role. She brings many years of teaching experience at Mayfair Lab and already has a strong rapport with our 6th and 7th grade students. We are excited to see her bring her experience, enthusiasm, and dedication to this new opportunity.

In addition, Mayfair Lab will transition from elementary Spanish to a new STEM-based ancillary course for our students. This exciting new offering will provide another opportunity to incorporate our ecoSTEM program throughout all grade levels and further enrich our students' learning experiences.

We are actively searching for the perfect candidate to lead this exciting elementary STEM course and are committed to finding someone who will provide an engaging and meaningful experience for your child. We kindly ask for your patience and support as we work to find the right person for this exciting new position.
