Due to impending freezing temperatures and the possibility of icy and hazardous roadways, the East Baton Rouge Parish School System will delay the start time of operations for students and staff on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022.
Delaying the start of school and work will ensure our school community can travel safely Friday morning.
This decision has been made with the support and advisement of our partners at the Mayor’s Office of Homeland Security & Emergency and under the guidance of the National Weather Service.
Important Updates for Friday, Jan. 22:
Mayfair Lab's carpool will be available 11:00AM - 11:30AM.
The school day will begin at 11:30AM.
Students will be served lunch at school.
Before care services for Jan. 22 are cancelled.
