Magnet Programs were developed to create exciting learning experiences to promote academic achievement for students with specific educational needs. Mayfair Lab presents an ecoSTEM focus where students explore current and future environmental problems and excites them about the possibilities while empowering them to be the change. Students in all grades will learn how to care for our environment and create special projects and activities through science, technology, engineering, and math. Chromebooks are available in every classroom, with grades 2nd through 7th being 1:1 (1 Chromebook per 1 student). This will allow students to become familiar with digital platforms early  in their educational life. Middle school students will plan, direct, and film a morning news show that will be broadcast throughout the school and YouTube.

Applicants selected in kindergarten through eighth grade must perform on or above grade level as determined by a screening instrument administered at the school.

"Magnet schools offer students specialized curriculum, so your student can focus their education on their interests, beginning as early as elementary school!" - EBR Magnet Programs
